Meet the Team

At ANCHOR, we believe healing happens through connection. Our team is made up of compassionate, trauma-informed professionals with deep expertise and lived experience. We are clinicians, educators, veterans, and advocates dedicated to creating safe, steady, neurodivergent-affirming care for every child, family, and adult who walks through our doors.

  • Founder

Dr. Sabrina Carboni, PsyD, is a trauma-informed Educational Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow who specializes in Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and complex trauma across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.
She has over a decade of experience providing evaluations, mental health services, and school-based consultation in both Arizona and California.

As the founder of ANCHOR Clinical & Mental Health Services, Dr. Carboni is dedicated to creating neurodivergent-affirming, compassionate, and deeply relational care for children, families, and veterans navigating trauma, overwhelm, or big life transitions.

A mother of four and long-time advocate for at-risk youth, she blends clinical expertise with lived experience, offering a grounded, human approach to healing, resilience, and rebuilding safety inside the nervous system.

  • Chief Operating Officer

Shahaliegh Brown is a U.S. Army veteran with 10 years of service and a background shaped by both childhood trauma and wartime PTSD. She is completing her second master’s degree in Special Education and oversees operations, compliance, and strategic growth at ANCHOR Clinical & Mental Health Services. Her unique combination of military leadership, educational training, and lived experience informs her commitment to creating accessible, trauma-sensitive, culturally responsive care for diverse communities.
